Whether we have one student or eight, Angela’s Morning School is open all year round except for local and national holidays and a break at Christmas. June, July August and September are our Summer School holiday programme months. During this period we have students whose families are on holiday in Marbella during the summer. Our regular morning students will often come back during August and early September for a final tune up before they enter their new schools.
Morning School is from 09.30 to 13.00 on Monday to Friday. We have a 30 minute break at 11:00 for students to have a drink and eat a snack brought from home.
Afternoon School is from 13.15 to 15.15 on Monday to Friday. This part of the day is generally for private one-to-one lessons and specialist teaching by arrangement. (e.g. language support, dyslexia, intensive study)
Morning School fees are payable weekly in advance on Mondays. When a booking is made for classes we ask for a deposit of one week’s fees to secure your child’s place. The deposit will be held and used to pay for the final week of attendance. Please note it is often more economical for a student to attend for the whole morning rather than take a private lesson.
Angela’s School private tuition fees are payable to the child’s teacher on the day of the lesson. Discounts are available for block bookings of 10 or more private classes paid in advance.
Occasionally, where a child needs special help or teaching in addition to the already very close and personal service given, parents may be asked to contribute towards the additional cost of specialist resources.
All worksheets and handouts are included in the fees and of course books used during classes remain the property of the school at all times. We use iPads extensively in our teaching and encourage our students to bring their own to classes.
Please supply your child with a 2 lined A4 notebooks, a pencil case containing 2 x HB2 pencils, a rubber, a pencil sharpener, a small ruler and a dry glue stick. Children under 10 should also bring a set of coloured pencils. Students over 10 years should also bring 2 x blue and 1 x red ink pens.
